Engaged Exam Administrator/Distance Teacher Wanted at JENSEN Komvux in Sundsvall

JENSEN Komvux is looking for an engaged exam administrator/distance teacher to work in Sundsvall.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Handling national exams on-site in Sundsvall
• Conducting the oral parts of the national exams in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and English.
• If you are a qualified teacher, there is an opportunity to take full responsibility for teaching our students studying remotely within your subject combination.
• Motivate and coach each student to achieve good study results and positive knowledge development according to national guidelines.
• Have a good ability to manage groups with significant differences in prior knowledge and individualize the course layout for each participant.
• Manage the administration of a course according to established routines (e.g., grading, feedback to students, introduction, exam supervision, etc.).
• Actively contribute to the development of the business area/unit and take responsibility for ensuring that the organization meets its goals.

The position will involve teaching remotely and physical presence during exam writing.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified teacher in English and Swedish as a second language.

You have experience working with students of varying prior knowledge levels and the ability to help each one reach set goals. You can adapt your communication to each individual and have experience conducting courses at different paces.

You are confident, attentive, and clear in your approach. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. As a teacher at JENSEN Adult Education, you need to be an initiative-taking, pedagogical, and communicative person. You have the ability and willingness to be the leader in the classroom.

Employment Type

We are looking for a colleague, either full-time or part-time, based on your skills and availability. Start date can be immediate or by agreement. We always start permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
